March Class detail pictures of Cottage Rose and Alternative Rambling Rose

Sample of the Quilt

Details of the Border of Cottage Rose

Details of individual blocks.

Cottage Rose, is a great way to incorporate a large color palette. The sample has a wide selection of fabrics from the same fabric line. There are 9+ different fabrics contained in the sample. This quilt uses strip piecing, and applique to get the affect.
For those who are new or who want an easier quilt, you can do Rambing Rose pictured below, I will bring instructions for both to class.

Previous Class participants show off their projects.

T-Shirt BLock Class participants
Rambling Rose Quilter Linda shows off her quilt top.

Rambling Rose Quilter Kristine shows off her quilt top.
Students pin baste a quilt top for one another. It's more fun as a group and seems to go quicker.

Margaret show off the top she made for her grandson. The Spiderman in the center is Appliqued with individual fabric pieces in Reds, Greys, Blues and Black. Go Margaret.
