Wow, Spring is arriving, So are the new Quilting Classes

Quilt 202



Cottage Rose Quilt Top - Classes begin Early March for this 4 part class. Classes are held Tuesday 10 am - 1 pm, Thursdays 5:30-8:30 and Saturday late afternoons. Use the selected fabric used in the sample or pic your own. An alternative quilt pattern called Rambling Rose offered Fall 2009 will be available for beginners, if desired. Picture to be added later.




Quilt 101



The Hole in the Barn Door BLock above is introduced in the Quilting 101 class, held monthly on an ongoing basis. Quilt Terminology, Rotary Cutting, Fabric Preparation and piecing is introduced. Not everyone manages to finish the block, but everyone does get instruction to complete it at home. A fun class for new and experienced self taught quilters alike.




Quilt 201



This class was introduced in the March schedule and set to start the first week of March. A 2 part, 2.5 hour class. the last class begins Saturday, March 12th at 4 pm Sign up soon, it's a last chance opportunity. The actual Table Runner is 4 flower blocks long and contains 6 of the stripe pieced blocks. We concentrate on Machine Quilting this fun and quick project, so... dust off your free motion foot, drop your feed dogs and lets have some free motion fun. Or use your walking foot to create a linear quilting design. I will demonstrate both.
